Actress and Artist Rashmi Pitre showcases her Concept of ‘PAINTINGS WITH HER POETRY’ on Canvas at Art Desh Gallery. Artist Rashmi, has taken Bachelor’s Degree with Hons. From St.Xavier’s College, Mumbai in Ancient Indian Culture and has taken training in
Original Philosophy of Buddhism which she incorporates in her paintings.. The
Subject of her Paintings is ‘Hidden Emotions’ and ‘The Search for
Enlightenment’.. “I believe that Art helps in developing One’s Personality and
it is Means to achieve peace in Life”. Being a Nature Lover, She has captured
colorful hues of Nature on Canvas.

Rashmi loves to write English Poetries.. “ I have written over 150 English Poems.” "I have been doing
this since many years”. She Clarifies. It really adds literary flavor to the
Art!

Rashmi has done many Group Shows and some Solo shows. Recently, her paintings were displayed in the Group Show ‘Color Conclave’ - sponsored show. and ‘Elements Part II’ at Artist’s Centre,
Kalaghoda. and also at Art Desh :The Studio Gallery.

A Self-Taught Artist, also trained by a Sir.J.J. School Artist, She has won many prizes on State and National level since early childhood.

Rashmi is Multi-talented. She has won many prizes in Acting. She is a Professional Theatre Actor and was a Main Lead in a Marathi Movie, has also acted in a Hindi Tele Film. She is currently acting in a couple of Hindi Serials.
